PULMOVIS®

Pulmovis is a comprehensive product of vegetal origin, which has expectorant properties. Activity of the product is caused by combined effect of biologically active substances present in some components of plant extracts. Extracts of Althaea root and thymus leaves have mucolytic and mucokinetic actions. Extracts of grindelia leaves, althea root, plantain leaves and thymus leaves contain essential oils that stimulate activity of cilia of the ciliated epithelium of airways, have expectorant action, and have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, extracts of grindelia and thymus leaves have spasmolytic action on smooth muscles of the bronchi, which facilitates removal of mucus. Althaea root extract has surfactant, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory action. Extracts of Abies alba cones and eucalyptus leaves essential oil contain natural vitamins and phytoncides that are highly needed by the body in the period of illness for the immune system recovery.
